I'm Chris — Founder & Web3 Fullstack Engineer

I am a Full-Stack and Web3 engineer focused on shipping real-world onchain products and enabling developers to build on Base. I have a strong track record of building, scaling, and educating within the Coinbase and Base ecosystem, with deep experience in developer relations, fintech infrastructure, and ecosystem growth across Africa.

Previously DevRel for East Africa at Coinbase, I led developer enablement across the region — running workshops on Coinbase Developer Accounts, Base Accounts, Paymaster integrations, OnchainKit, and Basenames, and serving as the technical liaison between local builders and the broader Coinbase and Base ecosystem. I worked closely with Eddie Kago, the Base East Africa lead, and co-shipped multiple onchain apps with Base Builders.

I built Minisend, a cross-chain stablecoin settlement layer for Africa: deposit USDC or USDT from any of 26 EVM chains and settle to KES, NGN, or GHS within minutes via M-Pesa, mobile money, or bank transfer. A Base Batches 002 winner, it has scaled to 1,000+ users across Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana, with $200,000+ in volume and 3,000+ cross-chain transactions. Through Kaizen Club, I have organized workshops, hackathons, and study sessions for 500+ developers, mentoring early-stage developers transitioning into Web3 and full-stack engineering. I am currently in my final year pursuing a BSc. in Computer Science at Technical University of Kenya.
